Two pieces of comment, if I may.
The cymbals seem to be cutting off too short. I feel like they're too sudden with both their beginning and end. Sounds weird, to me at least.
I also feel like the the gameboy-ish sounds don't quite fit the feel of the song. The song switches from a "Effin' yeah!" to "Blipblip meep".
I also wanna say I'm in love with the rest of the song. That guitar. Ohhhh, yeaaaah~...
I'm not in any way a musician, so feel free to ignore if you think it's fine the way it is.

@ClaireAnneCarr Don't worry. In my opinion, these 8-bit sound totally fit the song. I even dare to say this is better than the original.
