Various trains at Colchester station on Tuesday 1st June 2010.
Colchester is a strangly layed out station, so dont think some of the NXEA 90's were passing through, they were going to Platform 3.

2. Freightliner 90044 heading south.

3. NXEA 360104 forms the 11:17 service to London Liverpool St. this being the 10:50 departure from Clacton-on-sea.

4. Another NXEA 360 departing with the 11:18 service to Harwich Town, this was the 10:18 service from Liverpool St.

5. Great Eastern liveried 321359 arrives in P5 with the 11:15 service from Colchester Town.

6. NXEA 90/mk3 set departs with the 11:22 service to Norwich, this being the 10:30 from London Liverpool St.

7. NXEA 90/mk3 set arrives forming the 11:29 service to London, this was the 10:30 from Norwich.

8. Great Eastern livery NXEA 321359 departs for a 7 minute journey to Colchester Town, with the 10:30 service.

  • @stellarartwars07 I think NXEA should use class 357s instead of class 321s because they are clean, quiet and much more comfortable than the class 321s

  • My local line. The Mk3s are showing their age and could seriously do with a thorough refurbishment as they are decidedly rattly. The 360 by comparison are near silent, even in the motor coaches. 321s are used on some services, and the comfort level on these is incredibly spartan and were no match for the 3092 they replaced- I always thought it a shame that they didn't make an AC version of the 442 Wessex units, which would have been perfect.

  • Why do the 360s beep like that?

  • I LOVE the Anglian Main Line so much!

Can I go trainspotting with you once?

  • Great video mate, hope you liked your visit to East Anglia :)

  • great vid liked
