  • @mmartini50 It amazes me that people who make comments like this about home educators' arrogance, do not think about the fact that home educators are being attacked and must give a rebuttal. What is she supposed to do, sit there and try not to offend so that her rights can be taken away?

  • The gov't has no business sticking their big fat noses into every aspect of our lives. They're just upset that we can do it far better than they could ever imagine.

  • where is the arrogance?

  • I find the arrogance of home educators quite breathtaking.

  • My daughter has been home educated for a year and has done so well, even has a great report from the lea but we have been hounded so much by social services and other professionals that i have to now give in and send her to school as if i don't i face having her taken away ffs this country is a joke honestly.

At least she had a great year of learning.

  • Thanks for the comments :-)

  • what the government needs to be asking is why 'normally' schooled children who are taught by trained professionalls with all of the knowledge, expertise and funding of the education system behind them cant do as well as a bunch of kids who learn from mum and dad. Because thats what all this is really about.....mainstream education getting worse, homeschooling getting better and the gap between them widening.

  • Thank you for sharing this interview.

  • Well someone spoke some sense and it wasn't the muppet who left his phone on! I thought the home edders definately got the point across.

  • So cool that it was the home education INSPECTOR who didn't turn his phone off being going onto live television. The home ed mum and her home educated son were "intelligent" enough to work that out ;0)
