I remember when i was learning about the holocaust in history class, the teacher was talking about auchwitz and how the gate said, "work will set you free". it was at that moment that i understood this song. All of of the puzzle pieces fell into place.

Also referring to Nazis and concentration camps are the lyrics at 0:32; 'Work will set me free' was the motto on the gates to concentration camps, particulary Auschwitz
