lauren & gilles {wedding}

At the reception of Lauren and Gilles' wedding, I learned about a funny French-Canadian tradition. The tradition goes: if the bride or groom has an unmarried older sibling, that sibling wears a pair of bright/silly socks and has to do a dance to outrageous music. As this happens, the guests throw money to the sibling and the money is given to the bride and groom to help them start their household.

What an awesome tradition! Here's a quick video I took during the end of Gilles' sister's dance.
