Tran Hung Dao was a general of the Vietnamese Tran Dynasty who in the 1280's repelled the Mongol invasions into Vietnam. He is revered as a great military strategist. This video features a temple dedicated to Tran Hung Dao. It is located at 36 Vo Thi Sau in Saigon.

I will be forever in debt to all the Tran heroes such as Tran Hung Dao, Tran Nhan Tong, Tran Binh Trong etc for as long as I live. Without these men, we would have been taken over and our heritage erased by the Chinese and Mongolians forever.
