.ptb files are midi audio files which contain notations and tablature and they work with PowerTab Editor. An aid for performers and composers.
I use them for previewing Carcassi and Giuliani files in midi When I find one I like, I play it on my guitar.

Beautiful! I know the piece! Both playing it and it's opus number. It's opus 59(guitar method).
