The whole thing was concucted by the Americans before the shooting started at the bridge. The day prior it happen they fired all Filipino Laborers inside the US Camp. Because something is " cooking ". Those Filipinos understand " Halt " means its the same thing Halto. They have been brief by their officers.

@ThtOnePinoy i'm not siding with spain, i'm just clinging to the idea that that infant nationalist consciousness could have grown strong if the spanish were here a bit longer because spain wasn't doing anything about it. when the japanese came the government they gave the fil were of the same outline as what the revolution started. and the japanese wouldn't massacre spanish because they were allies. japanese supported the falange.

@iganduyan07 So no, your idea is fucking horrible if you think about it. Instead of that, why not you think about what could've happened if we started our revolution earlier? We would still have time to fully throw Spain out of there, and we could've even had a chance to hold off against the Americans as an independent nation.

Let me take a perspective thats actually in favor of Spain, if they were still around, do you know how much Spanish would get massaccred by the Japanese? Because their "greater east asia co prosperity" did not approve of western oppression, and Spain and the Japanese would be pissed at each other.

@iganduyan07 Again you twist my words, I SAID AMERICAN COLONIAL MENTALITY IS EASIER TO GET RIDE OF THAN SPANISH COLONIAL MENTALITY, but in a general sense, no its not going to be easy, but cmon, it's only like 50 years, take a look at the vietnamese, only thing they really lost was their writing system which may come back soon hopefully.

@iganduyan07 Ok be careful with the way you choose your words, I despise what the Americans did almost as much as I do Spain, however I'm only a little more mad at Spain because well, look who was around longer and who did it first, only fair. @ThtOnePinoy all i was trying to say is that we had an infant state which was eventually corroded by the americans through neo-colonization. now if only spain stayed a bit longer, fascism could have a arisen to strengthen the country's nationalism.

@ThtOnePinoy five books told me that he discouraged that rescuer. and why the hell would anyone confer to him about arming a revolution. he is not involved in violence. that's just stupid, they knew what they needed, why do they have to ask rizal what to do in war? do you need to ask rizal if you could buy this gun or that gun?
