My personal favorite is Standard of St George. This march, by the greatest composer of all K J Alford, represents all that a real march must have. Yes,there a more fantastic marches, but like I said, its personal.
The Senior Drum Major is Stan Jackson, coldstream Guards.
ENJOY!!!!!!!!

  • Any chance you could upload the Collection of the Colour from the Drummers Call and the Troop itself please? Regards, Ed

  • @Ed4RMAS What year? from 1989 to 2010?

  • @drummajor2000 1992 please and then the Slow time Flourish of 1999 and 2002 please. Regards, Ed

  • @Ed4RMAS Whoooo! Anything special in it? You're too specific. RMAS? Sandhurst?

  • @drummajor2000 Yes, the 1992 Collection of the Colour and the Troop has a family friend in it and the Flourish of 1999 and 2002 involves errors from the Ensign which will be interesting to see.

  • @Ed4RMAS I promiss you in due time. It will take some time though. After the holliday I haved enough tim. But does the error involve the coulour not unveiling at the march past? Thats the only slipup I can recall.

  • @drummajor2000 1999 is a failed unveiling but 2002 is in the wrong step, a strange sight indeed. Could you please message me when you have uploaded them. I am keen to see them. Thank you, Ed.

  • kenneth alford (major ricketts) was a genius in my humble opinion. at 1.04 he wove into the march part of the tune "home sweet home".....he did this with several of his marches using outher songs but it is alomst imperceptible unless you know what to listen for..sousa did the same thing often, but his were not disguised in the fabric of the march tune.....a unique and great march...thanks drummajor...........marty
