This is a test-run of a very old pre-production prototype train set from Eishindo. The current products run much, much better. For more information, please see my website: http://t-gauge.net

  • small but runs like a battery operated toy.. No more big boy toys...

  • @sumeth01 The product is improving. You need to walk before you can run, and the manufacturer is making great strides to make better models. Please don't use this old, old video as the basis for assumptions about the product. As it happens, the product I received was a pre-production prototype. The new models are much better.

  • the sad thing is they are just as expensive as oo gauge

  • @bwarrrrk Really? A complete T-Gauge train set, including an oval of track, a power supply, and a four-car train is less than $150.

  • @jdk1928 yeah, but for a set, it would be bought under the l]inks on wikipedia, and a starter set costs 150, about as much as a good quality HO scale set

  • Even better: start with my website, the biggest one on the Internet devoted to T Gauge. The web address is t-gauge (dot) net.

  • @mosher111 It is made by a quality manufacturer. The problem is the laws of physics makes it very, very hard to make models this small run well. The manufacturer has introduced a second generation series that runs much better, and a third generation is in the works. You have to admire a manufacturer that demonstrates a trend of constant improvement.

  • @Carolynn32 you can go through wikipedias page about T scale and at the bottom there will be a couple of links

  • When I wentdown to the b&o RR musuem last timethey had theese there
