The last time I checked, "music was a universal language". The bands have different styles, but one should appreciate these young musicians' talents be it an H.B.C.U. band or a "traditional" band from the S.E.C. or any other conference.

@steveaux03 Hey steveaux03- LSU would not be embarrassed by any band in the country. That includes the likes of Michigan and Ohio State. They're definitely one of the nation's elite band programs.

@BOBEAUX5 I don't just like Auburn, I graduated from Auburn. I got a fine engineering and musical education there. I don't happen to like LSU's football team too well, but their band is a fine organization, and the school of music at LSU is a force to be reckoned with. They have produced as many college band directors as any school I can think of. You've just made a very ignorant statement on the basis of LSU playing a historically HBCU chart but with higher standards of tone and intonation.
