as I wallowed in my growing disconcertion

Frostbitten hands let go of salvation. and the numbness has taken hold
and It may be my only refuge to tunnel further down
praying i'll regain sensation the closer I get to hell

like fiends in oblivion, and seekers who've lost their way
And those who've disconnected, and are no longer in the stars favor
wander broken, fallen victim to our self destructive natures.

I close my eyes to hear the sounds of the darkness

Underneath the shadows we're dying to feel alive
In this sea of lifeless faces, our demons smile
And the refugees cast out of your perfect world are forced to suffer through it.
The fiends and sinners and seekers and lovers do penance for being human!

And hear the cries echo off the westward waters
