Is Bart Ehrman a friend of Islam?

Before watching this video, I must stress that to understand the over all point you have to pay attention to everything that is being said, meaning you can not skip over issues that do not conventionally fit your preconceived notions. Also you will need to "open the doors of ijtihad" and THINK critically and INDEPENDENTLY of what you may have previously been told or assumed.

The jest of the video is Liberals, Atheist, Materialist, Humanist and hyper skeptic's reject all supernatural claims, all religion, to ignore that fact and use them to try and disprove Christianity while conventionally ignoring their rejection of Islam(for the same reasons they reject Christianity) is logically inconsistent.

Christianity is thy only rational worldview period.

@DJSHAHIR Also Ehrman does not hate Islam, He just rejects all region and any supernatural claims because he is a post modern materialist..his worldview is why he interprets the evidence the way he does, other experts in the same field like his own teacher interpret the same evidence differently based on their worldview..that's the point the video is making.

Wallace.. besides his credentials, he's known for debating Ehrman concerning these issues..you have any other scholars you might recommend? cause..it's affected me a little..so it'd definitely help to hear a few more scholars refuting Ehrman's claims..thnx for the e-mail..I'll definitely be writing to you soon..

@DJSHAHIR have you heard the rest of the scholars that refute his claims? because they mention what Ehrman has left out..which clearly diminishes the "abundance and critical" variants of the Scriptures..

@DJSHAHIR I don't think you comprehend the issues, again did you watch the video? Are you paying attention to every single point? What you just said makes no rational sense I honestly do not think you know what a bible scholar is or how to critically think about any of these issues. That inability or rejection of critical thinking is one of the reason's I left Islam

@ceeker248 Just because i agree with someone's views on the BIBLE, that doesn't mean i should become an atheist:-). He has done research on the BIBLE for years and studied under renown scholar Bruce Metzger. This however cannot be said of the Quran since he hasn't studied it, let alone read it. It's not that Muslims have a bad habit picking and choosing info that suits their preconceived notion, it's that these days, BIBLE SCHOLARS are doing our job!:-)
