Rock Hudson & Doris Day star in this perfect romance & comedy combination movie of 1959. A landmark in many people's teenagehood innocently favorite time. Doris Day, a fantastic singer, was also nominated an Oscar for best actress for this movie.

Who is the one person who disliked this? How could anybody dislike this, a wonderfule feel-good movie with Rock and Doris. Must be a very miserable human being....

Well, you know, there are people and people. The bitter-hearted ones even have the nerve to make public their living frustrations. That's called democracy. Ignoring them is also a democratic blessing - so take it on. My best wishes to you!

This is my ALL-TIME favorite comedy. Good, CLEAN fun (but sexy at the same time). The dialogue is filled with tongue-in-cheek, double entendres. Doris Day, ROCK HUDSON, Tony Randall and Thelma Ritter at their ab-so-lute best!!!
All of the above, PLUS the BONUS of title song (and another short little number, in the movie itself) sung by the multi-talented Doris Day!

So is mine. And I agree with everything you say. Good time when eyes and behavior could say a lot more than mere plain words would - with class and desirable sophistication! Thanks and best wishes.

Todays American women would do well to study Doris Day. Instead, we have nasty, bitter hags of women at 20 years old. Heaven help us,

Nostalgie, nostalgie, j'aime bien ce rock décalé, autant que j'ai aimé le film "Confidence sur l'oreiller" en son temps.

No there will never be another Doris Day. She has been my idol since I was a small child. My children ages 20 and 23 are even fans of hers.

@Tony Maxim Hell Hudson was only sinfully faggy and aids spreadingas the day was long. Hell is where he is now (Romans1:25-28)

Just saw it last night. They don't have actors like Hudson (very charming), Day (very luminous), Randall (always watchable) & Ritter any more. I read on IMDB that cinema owners wouldn't book this film, because they thought no one was interested in romantic comedies, or the two delightful leads. Why don't they ever realise that showing a film that goes against the grain at that time is usually a smart idea (i.e. Crocodile Dundee). Many films become hits by bucking the trend.
