I snag it with toilet paper, wrap it tight and flush it. I know it seems a waste of water! I don't want the stink to get loose!

It's not only if you squish them. If you do anything that startles them, they release a hormone that triggers the smell to be let out. If you capture it, it may release its scent just from that. I didn't know the scent attracted other ones though... nature is really screwing with us badly if that's true!

I'm a defender of creatures with feelings, but you're totally right about the way their minds are wired. I'm glad at least they don't go through as much emotion as a human would... I'm not happy about them entering my room. It's not because they're bugs, it's because of what kind. If it were a jumping spider, I'd be overjoyed... Anyways, they're pests, so I can't release, if I squish them, the smell attracts more, so my only option is to capture them and keep until their time comes... :(

I hate killing harmless bugs, but apparently these things are starting to invade a lot of areas and are becoming 'pests' to most people. I've heard that the smell of stinkbug attracts more of them, so squishing them is a bad idea. Is this true? I don't like starving them to death in little capsules... It seems too cruel...

It's not a waste of water if you dump all the stink bugs in the toilet and then piss on them. Plus you get that feeling of satisfaction and revenge.

Dude I know you probably feel bad for the stink bugs but you shouldn't. Stink bugs don't have feelings. Did you know that many small bugs don't have a conscience? They are basically programmed to follow through with certain tasks necessary to keep them alive - it's just in their nature.

Why do do people get worked up? These bastards INFEST my house and yard every spring, summer and fall, our only break is winter. And when I say infest, I really mean it, I kill at *least* 40 bugs a day. They're like roaches!!
