@Dobbersky you train in a good no nonsense solid style, ITF TKD can only add some nice kicks to your repertoire. When i trained in Muay Thai and Kickboxing, my earlier TKD training was a definite advantage as I was hunting kicks at angles my opposition wasn't expecting both low and high. Cross training is highly recommended and despite its many detractors TKD is a good martial art. A lot of higher grade ITF practitioners do full contact as an extra.

I'm a Ashihara/Kyokushin karate practitioner and someone told me to have a look at ITF.....Nice techniques although some of the hands are in WTF style position.

I think I might find my local ITF Dojang to attend for extra curicular.

i train wtf but we still learn how to fight with fists, only difference is that itf cannot be used on wtf matches :P

@soares4178 We had a yellow belt(8th kup) who was only 14 from ITF who smashed the crap out of an adult (24 year old) 1st Dan Blackbelt from WTF ... How do you explain that for being better than other martial arts?

I find it funny that a certain person below is knowing full well its Semi-Contact, but still thinking theyre poor Knockouts. Consider how much harder it is to Incapacitate someone with only Half Power.
