Jackie plays a mute Shaolin disciple who, as we learn through flashbacks, is seeking to learn kung fu for revenge against his father's murderer. Finding the training punishing and slow, Jackie starts learning properly after finding an old man chained beneath the temple. The bad-tempered prisoner trains him in return for bread and wine, and Jackie also gains some moves from a nun who admires his spirit, and also enjoys watching him fall over. After a lot of training, Jackie is able to face the Alley of the Wooden Men, dozens of automatic combatants who test those who learn the ways of Shaolin before they are allowed to leave. Once outside, Jackie finds the local village is being terrorized by the Green Dragon and White Tiger gangs, and discovers a nasty secret about their leader as he starts to kill off his rivals.

  • the wooden guy from the Tekken games lol

  • its kinda sad how the guy killed his dad and they had to ight in the end. classic film. one of my faves.

  • @rajinder2k4 it's part of the setting of the movie..the scene is at night..u can still hear what they're saying too...and obviously..they didn't have a lot of oil lamps or nething of that like around..that's the scene itself

  • @liarsclub75 i try to be very careful with what i say so its not misinterpreted but youve obviously gone off on a tangent there. im saying the exact same thing as you, as why do they have the eye surgery its unnecessary the asian eyes look natural and appropriate for their face (and beautiful) but cos of the influence of bastard western values that you have to look a certain way (though i reckon this is slowly changing too)

  • @rajinder2k4 Seriously? WTF? Nothing more beautiful than natural Asian eyes and this is coming from a white woman.

  • @liarsclub75 apparently donnie yen had that done too whats the deal with that man thats not cool
