This 13 minute short film, created by the Jewish Genetic Disease Consortium (JGDC) will be an integral part of the JGDCs ongoing educational programs. It is designed to help achieve our goals of educating and creating awareness about Jewish genetic diseases, and the the necessity for all Jews to be tested in order to greatly reduce the frequency of these tragic disorders.

I think it is time that the book of revelations actually happens, and I am not just talking as a Christian, but for the simple fact that we have single handedly destroyed a pure perfect planet, all in the lust for power, our species is showing more and more signs of a sinful nature. Whatever though, Our kind will never learn to be truly good, humanity is forever tainted by sin and we will always regress to our true sinful nature, I honestly don't see why God doesn't just totally annhilate us.

One thing bothers me about this video: the word "avoidable". Is this to imply that children born with a genetic disorder are nothing more than a difficult handful for their parents, and that their lives should therefore be "avoided" before they even begin? What sort of a people do we become if women start terminating every pregnancy that doesn't look picture perfect? Are centuries of learning to love people, not despite their differences but because of them, about to come to nothing?

And like it says we were all made in gods image, all of you who judge others based on past mistakes, religious views and racial diseases, we are all human, all equal, meaning your only as special as you treat those around you, what I see here is exactly what hitler said about Jews, and we all know what happened to hitler.

That if it weren't for Jewish people, there would be no Jesus and no Christianity. It is this's arrogance that brought forth hitler and that unfortunate and sad event, it is pure and utter arrogance, but I think that you Jews are great, you've went through your share of hard times and then some, it's time you guys got a break. Rasmajnouni, I am a devout Catholic, and I find it absurd what people may say about Jewish people. After all, Jesus was Jewish, and at one time, Christianity was a sect of the Jewish religion. Now I don't know what the Jewish bible teaches, but regardless, both our religions teach us about god, some Christians are to ignorant to acknowledge

The longest life ex by country is indeed in Japan 82.6 while Israel is on the 4th place with 82.0 years.wiki/List_of_countries_b­y_life_expectancy

However Israel is not a homogeneous society. 20% of Israelis are Arabs with life ex at 73.5 years. Mizrahi Jews have life ex of 80.0 years, while Ashekanzi Jews live an average of 86.0 years. The same patters is true for US.
