  • Fixed... It was the temp sensor.

  • @DavesAV6 I know its been awhile but you would you be able to tell me if it was the sensor by the firewall or the thermostat?

  • @jeepcherokee40 theres 2 of them, I think the second is in the back of the motor.

  • replaced TPS still does it. Now I guess time for the ecu. Thats all thats left I think.

  • I can unhook just about any one sensor on my car and still drive perfectally...... maby a bit of power / gas milage loss but still drivable. My maf sensor died on a road trip last year and the car bairly ran.... unhooked the maf sensor and drove home.... just got like 18mpg insted of 27mpg

  • fuel pump

  • @DavesAV6 try check vacuum hoses too. its would be cause those sensor problems like mine with my 1987 jeep comanche then now inline 6 run smooth after fix hoses, tps and temp :)

  • my friends jeep has the same problem except his got really really bad and only goes 10 km/h foot the the what did you change to fix it sensor?

  • @DavesAV6

the temp sensor that did that???...wow the ECM on you rig must be strict.....i miss the old days when most everything could be bypassed if needed LOL.

  • It's the Temp Sensor, The car actually dies and restarts when he revs it.
