Le 3'ténor ne chante pas, il fait semblant. Mais il le fait bien, avec grande justesse. Même chose pour la soprano numéro 11. Elle pense à ses vacances et oublie de lier les notes des mesures 23-4-5-6. On se demande à quoi sert cette oeuvre si elle ne rénunit pas au moins 45,000 chanteurs. Le public de ce concert a été loué au Met en échange d'un regain d'intérêt pour le baseball de la part des allemands.
