  • I disagree with criticism of Secretary Gates. I think he was one of the best. He presided over some of the worst times the US military had. He inherited the mess IMHO Sec. Rumsfeld created. Finally, Sec. Gates instituted many reforms and necessary budget cuts/changes.

  • They wannna get paid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • or maybe they are gearing up to move to the PRIVATE sector??????????????? :/) I could only hope they are leaving because they sense the deceit.

  • Robert Gibbs added to the list.

  • @Dogmeat1950 If you dont understand the concept of labor, and manufacturing being kept in the US being seriously important, you shouldnt try to talk about either the economy, or the justification of our military being in iraq. Since you dont see the problem with our military coming home and having no damn jobs waiting for them..Whos side are you on anyways?

  • @Dogmeat1950 Dude,...are you being serious or what? what you just described is building an ECONOMY!!! im starting to question how old you are. Hire workers, manufacture tools for the job, make clothes, all these things would be great for AMERICA!!! .. If you got a job, you get paid, you buy lunch at a local food place, you spend your money locally, and the circle gets stronger you maniac!

the problem now is, All the mega rich want to get richer so they invest OUTSIDE the US! get it yet??

  • @Soulfree2008 Legion? so your a Imperialist now lol?

  • @ThisPageStaysREAL hahahaha, ya... sure it creates job... but guess what, to build things you need to have materials, one word Logistics Logistics Logistics,

that means people need to pay for workers, pay for materials, build farms, build tools, make clothes, etc etc. what your saying is lets Toss money at it! THAT DOESN"T WORK!

  • @Dogmeat1950 ummm.. sorry but when money is spent on building shit, it CREATES jobs. If they spent more money on schools, than they do on prisons it would create JOBS, if they want to spend money on urban renewal, it CREATES JOBS. And if tax cuts werent given to the mega rich who then invest overseas it would create jobs. I think only one of us is showing the people in the comment section how dumb "we" are. Please try to use your mind a bit more before you start typing.
