Tennis Davis Cup 1985 Westphal - Smid (Carpet trouble - Part 2)

Part 2 of a bizarre incident from this legendary 1985 Davis Cup match that ended in an amazing 6:8, 1:6, 7:5, 11:9, 17:15 victory over the checho-slovakian Tomas Smid for the german player Michael Westphal who died of AIDS 6 years later at the age of 26.

Again Michael Westphal literally falls victim to the combination of a poorly laid indoor carpet surface and unusually hot conditions. At first it's not quite clear what happens, but a moment later Westphal - in a wonderful moment of unintentional comedy :-) - reveals the reason for his second fall.
