Mainstream just means music without color. I honestly can't tell the difference who sings what on the radio these days. That doesn't mean good music can't be on the radio.

@hydro4ic i don't know if rapping about relationships makes it mainstream...i mean songs like 'one' is slightly moreso, but their stuff like Pieces of You, Gift, Heaven, even Paris...those aren't normal love songs, they're intense and deep referring to angels and hell and death/rebirth inside.

the music scene has shifted in asia, much like the U.S....good hip hop is decreasing and pop/R&B is starting to dominate. the only rap you'll hear in korea now-a-days is all about boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. tablo himself has been under the mainstream pop culture as well.
