  • another good paper I've found is regular printer paper...it's very inexpensive...you can get 500 sheets at wal-mart for about $5.00 .. and it's also good for colored pencil..

  • Brown wpapping paper is also a nice inexpensive option. It works well with charcoal or pencil and because it has a neutral brown tone you can use white chalk or pastel for your hilights.Obviously you need to use the rough side of this paper.

  • I use regular everyday school writing notebook paper. Don't waste your time and money on a perfect white sheet if you can't draw.
