This demonstration illustrates 'bytehook', a patent-pending application that permits the rapid and easy transfer of data between multiple computer systems. This demonstration shows the operation of a software prototype that was constructed to test out an idea. The software includes components that run on desktops, laptops and on an Android phone. The experiment utilizes Google's zxing library for barcode read/write and Ignite Realtime's smack library for XMPP.
