Put 12 of these at 45 degrees around the perimeter of a large disc. Put the unit on a scale and weigh it.

One thing I'm confused about. In the Navy, I got the idea that gyroscopes were used for navigation because they held their position relative to EVERYTHING, not just the gravity field, yet this gyroscope and the cheap ones wobble like crazy.

They do provided there C of G is maintained. Otherwise they will precess.
