Yon-Gae is named after a famous General during the Koguryo Dynasty, Yon Gae Somoon. The 49 movements refer to the last two figures of 649 A.D., the year he forced the Tang Dynasty to quit Korea after destroying nearly 300,000 of their troops at Ansi Sung.

  • @jessica5000000 if you look for the "legacey" dvd collection you will get all these videos! but they are all up on youtube now.

  • @jungshin thats awesome. General Choi personally recorded these and approved. Are these videos availble to purchase anywhere?

  • @guilletkd this video was recorded with choi hong hi standing behind the camera! they were all passed as acceptable by him before the final DVD collection was released. this performance is original TKD and shows great power and control in the form. if you practice the modern slower form of TKD then you are not experiencing the full power to be generated through proper execution.

  • To fast , no good definition of the movements.

  • thats a bit of a mess
