I think you guys had great singing voices, but you needed to work on your physicality more. If you weren't comfortable with/able to do realistic choreography, you should have tried to just stay stationary, singing to each other. Either move around and effectively tell the story or just stay put - you should really commit to one or the other, and your performance will be much stronger.

That's what I call professional singing. You don't need to worry bout acting when your voices deliver the story by itself :) And you didn't even use mics.. gosh that really makes me think..
