  • Although I was born after the Nigerian Civil War, I was fortunate to have heard about great tunes like this one from my Late Dad about great times in Port Harcourt (Garden City). Great highlife makes me very happy and I celebrate with all you folks who love this genre,..please keep it alive. These highlife maestros transcended geographical and language barriers - A free lesson to present day musicians in Nigeria. The power of good music, ..hmm Kudos for download

  • One of the best songs ever, worldwide. The crispiness and clarity of the trumpet is unmatchable. The Obi of trumpet, indeed.

  • the obi himself...shogbo!!!!!!!!

  • Arguably his best composition.

  • Legend indeed,we had them in Nigeria then ,Victor Uwaifo,Rex Lawson,Victor olaiya.Celestine ukwu...... etc
