Derek Bell / James Hunt (rare sports car appearance!) - finished 2nd 6 - Gulf Mirage Ford. Mike Hailwood / Hugh de Fierland 9 - Chevron B26 Ford. This great battle sadly ends when the Chevron runs into mechanical trouble (you can just see a puff of smoke), and the Porsche eventually goes on to win.
