  • Thank you very much for your input! and your intuitive statements. By chance , off the top of your head, could you recommend me a Radar det. under $200?

  • @RapturousVerbatim If you are in the US, I would go for a Whistler Pro-78 SE at that price point. BTW I notice Radar Busters have started selling the LI. Wow! Very interesting since Blinder was at one point suing LI USA for patent infringement.

  • radarroydotcomnow the mimic is also called the lasertek

  • Yes I am well aware of Radar Roy's claims on this product. I too (once upon a time) followed his every word as gospel in this industry. But once I started testing products myself, the bigger picture started to unravel. Dont get me wrong, I have met Roy, and he is an extremely friendly, courteous individual. But I think Roy is business driven, whereas I see myself more hobbyist driven.

  • Why would you claim Blinder / Escort as the best laser jammer in the world when every independent test shows the Laser Interceptor is a better product? Why doesnt RadarBusters sell LI? The fact of the matter is I have shot the M18 with a Pro Laser 3, Ultralyte LR, LTI Marksmon, and a LTI Truspeed, and the M18 was JTG on many occasions. I've tested several units "from stock" to ensure I wasn't given a "juiced" unit. And I've strapped many M18s to customers cars and had them shoot it with a laser

  • On each and every occasion the customer has witnessed the M18 successfully jamming the laser gun on their cars - even when we've simply stuck the heads on the bumper with double sided velcro tape as a quick and dirty temporary installation! I let them shoot their cars while one of their mates drive it - I stand back and do not interfere. So despite the stigma attached to the mimic, I do not concur with the comments made by Roy on this product.
