  • @growingyourgreens what kind of lights is he using?

  • Sunshine Systems Grow Panel 45.

  • Thanks to you mentioning in your video about the $ .50 tomato and pepper plants, I purchased 30 of them and presented them as gifts to my friends and neighbors in hopes to get some of them growing more of their own food. I even had enough to give a half dozen of them to a friend of mine who works with mentally handicapped adults. He was inspired to start growing food in containers around the home so that he can teach the people he works with about growing food and where food comes from.

  • Wow! Thats a great Idea! I will mention that next time in the video to encourage others to share the plants!

  • great! but you talk way too much. keep that in mind.

  • I'm growing lettuces, peppers, oregano, cilantro, parsley, collards, chard, spinach, carrots, radishes, onions, kale... unfortunately all my tomatos got these black bugs (i mean thousands of them) and none of them made it. My peas also succumbed to somekind of mold as did the zucchinis, oh well.. I will try different varieties next time. They were all grown from seed, started indoors, and then transplanted out.

  • Hey John, I actually started three raised beds in my front lawn here in Orlando Florida after watching your videos. Right now I am growing cherry and steak tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeno's, lettuce, squash, a few spices, carrots, radish's, etc. The beds are 3x6 and we are currently in the process of making compost for compost tea.

  • @fbmbassist Here's what I'm growing in containers: dwarf lemon tree, cherry tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, aloe (propagated from pups, which I learned to do from your video!), basil, chives...and I have lots of seeds for greens that I need to get started. It stays pretty mild where I live in Oakland, so I think I can grow lettuce and kale in the shadier parts of my balcony and it won't bolt too fast. I'm using mostly compost and rock dust (that I got from you at the Raw Health Expo).
