sorry this is unrelated to this particular accessory but i want to buy a DW SM912 18" boom for my DW 6700 stand - basically swap the existing 9" boom for the slightly longer one. The SM912 doesnt appear to have a toothless tilter in the pictures on the DW website. Do DW make an 18" boom arm with the toothless tilter/techlock system?

@kapb77 We do not make a package deal for the 18" boom arm with the tube but you can order the DWSM912 and the top 3/4 top tube of a 9700 cymbal stand. They will work together no problem. If you are in the US you can order them through our on line store with the links below. Or feel free to order these parts through any authorized DW dealer. ://dwdr(dot)ms/v7qPFu

Hey DW, I was wondering how the bass drum cymbal mount option works. (DW770 and DW 770S) I was looking into purchasing one, but I'm not sure how it works, or if it would even mount properly on my bass drum, which is a Pearl 1983 Export Series. If you could get back to me, or even post a video about it, that'd be great, Thanks, Adam.

@concreteeater12 the DW770 and 770S mount directly to the bass drum using a DW TB12 (included) tom mount bracket. Yes, this means you have to drill your pass drum shell, even if it's a DW. This accessory is usually factory installed on new custom kits (if ordered), but we found it to be popular enough to offer alone. It's 2 holes you'll have to drill, and then screw in the TB12 mount and then the cymbal arm fits right in there. you can see how it looks here:
