Even worse if you would consider using Ryan Fry in an Olympic promotion and not even contacting the Olympian who won the gold medal. Shame on you Bell Aliant, that type of mistake just isn't acceptable. Gushue and the boys should have had enough class to figure that one out for Bell Aliant too. Shame on them as well.

Woops. Just realised my mistake. Ryan Fry was the guy unavailable on Team Gushue as he is the 4th member currently. Russ was never approached as it is the current team that was used in the shoot. Sorry for the confusion - I'm not a curling follower and mixed up the names :)

Since when did the 2006 Olympic Curling Team consist of three players. Russ Howard was an integral part of this team, Bell Aliant had a great promo.... too bad their commercial has selective promotion.... is this the way they run their business too? Just wondering.

Unfortunately Russ's schedule and the available shoot dates just didn't work out. Nothing selective at all, just came down to busy Olympic schedules and director, staffing, etc with conflicting schedules.
