  • @mrbradleybaker It's a freaked out hybrid between Winnie The Pooh and Neil Armstrong...Got to be VERY experienced to handle tat ^^

  • @zombiestars42 YEA,YOU GOT IT,A-R-M-A-D-I-L-O.......but WHY and who is Pooneil???????

  • This song is a fuckin teleport machine man!

  • Got this in my head yesterday after not hearing it for 40 years. It hasn't aged a day.

  • @ziggypop1977 - I'm afraid your mother gave you only half a picture. For example, the "bunch of idiots running around protesting a war" (how trivial! how silly!) included many people who'd been in the Civil Rights Movement. Martin Luther King Jr. for a famous example. In 1967 he was saying that the US was the greatest purveyor of violence in the world.

  • Beautiful song, Grace Slick was a genious at writing music. Although the subject matter is kinda sad I love this incredible song...Huichol53......

  • Life begins with consciousness. Little to do with chronology. Was the 27 year old tank commander a hero in this song?

  • "When one is past ones thirtieth year, One then is just as good as dead. It would be best to put all such away." - a vaguely apposite quote from Goethe's Faust Part 2, the scene with Mephistopheles and the Baccalaureus (Graduate)...

  • Grace was a beautiful woman - like many women songwriters from the 60s and early 70s she had a natural beauty as did many women from the Counter Culture.

Sadly that natural beauty has faded as a culture. We have regressed to "artists"

promoted and defined by corporate America! This era of music and art will not be repeated in our culture. The Airplane rose above all that for awhile...
