@forsakenallelse Also I have to say the funny part is here I am asking you for advice forgetting how I found you I looked back and you and me had a conversation about BDM and how they are/ are not satanic. lol I hope you found it to still listen to them and do another cover lol I mean I actually never listened to Through The Eyes Of The Dead but with a CC name they have to be damn good lol

@forsakenallelse Is Roddy's workout just a set amount of routines you do each day to help get yourself better? Is something that matches your hands in motions to teach you Independence or just strictly getting better foot technique/speed? Any links to any videos? Also I have Iron Cobra Power Glides I like the beaters on the pedals. Are you telling me to put videos up when I get better? lol Doubt that will happen. I have extremely skinny legs and I try to run when I can so I hope that helps lol
Pedals? I want your technique 0.o They look like DWs..? Any tips? I just got a small E-kit and its my dream to be able to do this kind of stuff

@vkw619 I use DW9000's with Iron Cobra beaters. You can't really see in the video, but the Iron Cobra comes with little tiny memory clamps the size of your pinky nail and I put them towards the top of the beater to give it a little extra weight as the Cobra beaters don't have much to them. But that's also why I prefer them to the stock 9000s. I follow Derek Roddy's technique for the most part - leg up a bit and playing heel down, kind of like what you do when you're nervous

@vkw619 I'd recommend looking up his practice videos. He has five of them - two of them are just solo's. As far as tips - practice, practice, practice. If you actually do Roddy's workout you will get good fast. It is alot to do but totally worth it. I play with my left alot, on things I would normally use my right foot on just to build it up and get it used to playing more. Your right tends to build quicker naturally if you're right-handed. Put some video's up something and let me know!
