@TalonMercenary We don't want independence because we hate England or English. That arguement seriously is getting boring now.... The English look to Scotland and see a country where the people want to be independent and take control of their own future and instead of being happy for us, you are all bitter and think we want to get away from yous. Wee bit of advice, get over yourselves. No one is above or below, we are equal, or at least in the eyes of Scots we are.

@thebritish25 When it comes right down to it, you can continue to be against this and that, but unless you live in Scotland then you have no say in anything whatsoever and your opinion only goes as far as a youtube comment. The people of Scotland will vote in the next few years and if they want to be an independent country just like all the others then we will, regardless of whether someone in England or anywhere else agrees or not.

@thebritish25 Exactly. It always seems to me like Scotland acts like a spoilt kid. Ireland has legitimate reasons to hate the English and force independance, but Scotland gets a very good deal out of this union and they don't realise it, plus the issues England had with them are coming close to 800 years ago, yet they still hate us. I say let them go independant, thats 6.6 million we won't have to give them or whatever it is, & then have them release terrorists under the noses of the government

@thebritish25 Sorry but when exactly did UKIP and the BNP recieve a landslide majority in an election? The SNP is the ONLY political party in these islands to be in a majority government. I think people like you need to face facts and realise that the SNP are not the minor party that you always have viewed it as. It is the government majority party of Scotland and it will never fade. The only parties in Scotland that are fading are the tories and liberal democrats!

@thebritish25 The Scottish people are not stupid. We can spot your typical selfish puppet politician from a mile off and most of them are in London. Alex Salmond has delivered for Scotland in the past 4 years than any London Government has in the 300+ year union. He really does care about Scotland and it's people and the people know that. That is why he was voted in for a second term in office by a majority of the Scottish people in 2011.

The things you mention are reasons FOR Scottish Independence. No longer will we be governed by a government that leaves 2.62 million people unemployed. And i highly doubt Iran has a problem with Scotland or it's government. And Scotland is MY country and people like you want it to be clung to a failing state
