  • Beautiful country. Thanks for the views.

  • @rainbowhiker it sure is. Thanks for dropping by.

  • E. Rosebud is my favorite place; I go every year to fish and just get lost in its beauty for a couple of weeks. I just got back home last week and I miss it already. Thanks for the great video.

  • @go5hole18 I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love the Absaroka/Beartooths and get there as often as I can in all seasons.

  • @b22frozenfire the closest airport to this trail is Billings, MT. The trailhead is 85 miles to the SW of the airport. The hike showcased in this video required a very, very long car shuttle but it could also be done out-and-back.

  • @sharaldson I remember you saying. I like terrain like that. It affords great alpine scenery in the day and the chance for sheltered camp sites (and camp fire fuel...) in the evening.

  • @thunderinthenight13 if you remember awhile back I commented on your blog about how I was going to a place that looked very similar to where you had been doing some backpacking, this was the place. Although in the three days we were out we traveled through a couple distinctive ecosystems, the middle section of this trip is treeless, often foggy, and speckled with rocky tarns - very reminiscent of your trip to the Hardangervidda.

  • @sharaldson It's uncanny how much of the scenery looked like Norway.

  • @thunderinthenight13 I wish I could have been there longer.

  • Nice wilderness Sam!
