@jbecker8082 I wish everyone showed her as much support and love and appreciation BEFORE she died. She had real problems with self-esteem, if the media/people didn't celebrate her decline as much as they did, I don't feel it would have come to that but who knows, there's rarely a good end to drug and alcohol addiction. People were so quick to point out her imperfections, I don't think as an addict having reactions like that are going to help you at all...

I had really hoped that she would get it together, beat all the odds against anyone who is so possessed and controlled by the tentacles of addiction.
She was a strange lady for sure... but very, very talented... and her music was distinctive, not like anyone else currently on the 'scene' today. So much of today's popular music is simply formulaic.
Would love to know what music she'd be making ten years from now...
It's just too bad she couldn't get a handle on her life.
