@funnorthwestboy . I live in Mumbai. and trust me. you wouldnt be able to believe the stunning progress India has made man. People have this misconception that India is still ridden with poverty. If you visited Mumbai or Bangalore, you'd be stunned seeing the advancement.!

but obvious you will be visiting metro cities like mumbai, bnglore etc, so you can speak in english at hotels, shoping centres, but be aware of taxi drivers, Auto drivers, and some people at railway stations they might take extra money for you saying the charges. otherwise you will not face any problem.
