Royal Caribbean officially takes delivery of Oasis of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world! Ceremony took place at STX Europe's shipyard at Turku, Finland on Wednesday, Oct 28, 2009.
225,000 tons, 5400 Passengers, 1187 ft long, 208 ft wide, 236 ft tall, $1.5 billion to build.

  • I'm norwegian, but wondering why would they raise the Norwegian flag. Aren't Tor Olsen nowegian, seems like. Therefor?

  • @EDTheBloodRider Royal Caribbean was founded in Norway in 1968. Always good to acknowledge your roots!
