Here's the first video in the series called Outdoors Quick Tips. Today were talking Nalgene bottles and some of it's uses in a budget backpacking kit. One item that I overlooked in the video is that you would need to put a weight in the bottle when you were lowering it into your water source. The weight would counter the bottle from wanting to just float on the water.

  • @MakingMasterClass Thanks for stopping by.

  • Nice video. I was wondering, what program do you use to edit your videos. They are well done and the segments are very crisp and clear. Thanks for your reply in advance.

  • @TheStupidMonkey007 Thanks for the kind words and for watching.I'm currently using iMovie11 but I want to move over to Final Cut Express soon.

  • Love it! Great idea! Sorry Ive been hard to get a hold of recently but it's hunting season so most of my spare time is doing that or sleeping early. One more week and my schedule will go back to late nights in front of the PC editing vids.

  • @ironmonkeyz Brother you better bag the big great white tail in the sky oh and capture it on video.. Take care..

  • Sweet mountains. Great video.

  • @guns4funca Thanks the mountain in the back is Half Dome in Yosemite. I took the picture while doing a hike from Glacier Point down into the valley.. What a hike!

  • Pretty cool tips brother. Thanks for sharing.

  • If you pour a cup of water into the Nalgene, then start the duct tape wrap at the water level mark ...its an easy way to measure out one cup of water, for use in cooking or whatever.

Just a thought. Thanks for the video ...cool background : )
