How many millions of taxpayer dollars are spent each year on those stupid HELICOPTERS? And why does the BLM charge only 12 dollars a year to graze one cattle????? It is interesting that people make such a fuss over "wild" horses when in fact they are an introduced species similar to feral pigs. They were introduced less than 500 years ago to North America. Their real title should be feral horses. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love horses, they are amazing and inspiring and I have been obsessed since I was a little girl. But they need to be managed so that they do not displace our native animals.

I'm not american but it just breaks my heart to see these beautiful wild mustangs that are part of the US patrimony and an icon of that country being treated like this.

It's unthinkable and unacceptable killing thousands of healthy horses in order to control population. I really wish governors consider support sanctuaries or adoption programs. Wild Mustangs should live and they should live free.
