  • Dear God, hope you got the letter, and...

I pray you can make it better down here.

I don't mean a big reduction in the price of beer

But all the people that you made in your image, see

Them starving on their feet 'cause they don't get

Enough to eat from God, I can't believe in you

Dear God, sorry to disturb you, but... I feel that I should be heard

Loud and clear. We all need a big reduction in amount of tears

And all the people that you made in your image, see them fighting

    In the street 'cau

  • @everstud maybe Paul's words work both ways for us?

  • @everstud and paul said, when people refuse to listen to your preaching then it's time to move on...

  • @ando444544 I think it's clear from some of your earlier posts (and the responses) that you offended some people on this message board, perhaps to the point that they will never become interested in learning more about religion. That should be proof enough to you that unsolicited proselytizing is ineffective and counterproductive. I've been trying to show you the err in you ways, but like most, you seem to ignore common sense and well intentioned advice. This is my last post on the subject.

  • @ando444544 In my opinion that's a very good strategy. It's what jesus did, word spread and he had many people come of their own volition. He didn't have to corner people on the street and cram religion down their throats. If people don't become curious about religion, it's not your fault, it's theirs. It is your fault, however, if you turn people away from religion by being overzealous. You also can't know whether it's you or someone else who will make a difference in their life.

  • @everstud so you expect me to just sit around and love non-Christians and be kind to them and that's all... expect them to be curious on their own? And suppose they don't? it's not a game we're playing it's reality... if they don't become curious then I would have been responsible for yet another damned soul.. not by works are we saved and not by faith are we saved but by Works AND Faith... because even the demons in hell believe Jesus is the son of God... I must not only be kind I must preach

  • @ando444544 When people notice that you are different (in your lifestyle) they will become curious and that will give you an opportunity to share your faith. There's no reason to preach at people, especially unsolicited.
