"Everyone makes mistakes. But when I make one, I learn from it. This is my example."
The B1Example Campaign would like to introduce Shanikwa from Dorchester. She is a recent graduate of Boston Community Leadership Academy, is attending college in the fall and is one of the teens who helped create the campaign from the start. You can see Shanikwa's ad in the Forest Hills T Station and hear her story http://www.facebook.com/b1example
Do you know a teen who is a positive example and helping to redefine street cred in their neighborhood? They could be in the next B1Example commercial this summer! They just need to create a video (less that 60 seconds) showing us how they are an example to their friends and young people in the community. How are they redefining street cred? Grab a cell phone, flip cam or camcorder! Use words, images, photos, music -- imagine what will get people talking and taking action! Videos can be uploaded to www.facebook.com/b1example fan videos.
The top three videos will be in the next B1Example Ad in the movie theaters throughout Boston this summer! The deadline is July 16th and teens 21 years old and under are eligible. See official rules at http://bit.ly/9pFsgh
Stay tuned for more highlights of our B1Example youths and upcoming B1Example events. Please consider joining the conversation on Facebook, YouTube, and MySpace at www.facebook.com/B1Example.
