Congressman, Frank Guinta at Exeter Town Hall Meeting Meets Significant Opposition to his vote for the Paul Ryan budget. Seacoast New Hampshire residents expressed that they do not want Medicare and Medicaid trashed, and they want tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans to be ended out of fairness. Raymond resident Chaz Proulx chastised Guinta for complaining about some angry citizen comments coming from the audience when he was swept into office by very angry, gun-toting Tea Partiers who mercilessly attacked his predecessor, former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter as he said nothing about proper decorum then.
I agree with reducing the deficit but not by cutting benefits to the disabled, and elderly by cutting medicare. Instead go back to pre-Bush tax rates for wealthy of 35% (trickel down does not work), cut subsidies and tax breaks to oil companies and corporate farms, and make any corporation that does business in US (no matter where corp office is) pay taxes - all this will put trillions back in the budget!
