Green Man festival

The question I was trying to ask in this video was do you have you spend time researching a bunch of bands or is it best to just pick it up as you go along :)
Cause surely hearing music live that you know is better than hearing something new? If you've gone all the way to wales to hear it, kind of thing.

Also, I filmed this on wednesday but I'm laaaazy so didn't edit it till now

I have never been to a music festival, so... I can't really help you there, sorry. I have only been to two concerts: Death Cab for Cutie and The Decemberists. Both were fantastic :) I have also seen some college string quartet groups perform live which was also great. I think just seeing music live in general is a wonderful experience. It causes me to appreciate the music even more.

@anancybrown I've been to a few local low key festivals but nobody on my ipod plays there, and I've never been to a gig as such so I dont know what it's going to be like! Though I'm sure it'll be fine

yaaaay, a few of my overseas-at-the-moment friends will also be going to green man and i am so jealous. also, yeah. i've been to a few fests and i think that you just generally try to catch all your favorites and then just sort of walk around to different stages for the rest of the time until you find some friendly people or a band that you wanna hear more of. hope you have a really fun time camping out!!

I just googled the festival, and the lineup looks great. There are so many bands I'd like to know more about. You should be able to do all the research you need from the website. Don't miss the opportunity to be surprised by something new.

I've never been to one. I've only seen live outdoor music like 3 times. But one of the times, it was the Psychedelic Furs, and that was cool.

I've only been to a one day festival before & it was shit! Made me feel sick the next day & all. xx
