remeber reagan was a fucking actor and a puppet, ron is a senior statseman and has been exposed to the process for 30 years.

i think it is hard to call his hugely consistent track record "rhetoric".
he talks on the same lines as reagan and goldwater, but there should be no mistake: ron paul is definitely his own candidate.
if you could show me where your doubts of his sincerity come from i would love to see them. he is the only politician ive ever seen that has anything like sincerity.

He preaches "getting government off people's backs" like Reagan did. It didn't work then and it won't work now. And I'm not sure about the sincerity of his anti-interventionist rhetoric.

Didn't Reagan start the newest 'drug war?' Just say no! Reagan was also not very fiscally responsible if my memory serves me correctly (Reaganomics). Oh...and don't forget Iran/Contra...not very anti-interventionist. Sorry, but I don't see Ron Paul as a neo-Reaganite.
