Hua Hin Cricket Sixes 2009 | KCC Woodbines Part-1

The 14th Hua Hin Invitational Cricket Sixes kicked off in style at the Dusit Resort Hua Hin with 11 teams from Australia, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, India and Thailand.
The ground is in its best condition since the tournament began 14 years ago with the grass cut down low resulting in fast outfields.
Hua Hin escaped downpours to register high scores in the opening day at this picturesque seaside resort, The tournament welcomes the return of the Melbourne clubs, The Follies, and Cluden CC from Australia.
KCC Woodbines under the leadership of famous Tauseef Bukhari with their 'FBI' commandos Sher Lama, Ankur Sharma, Robert Raina, Ghulam Mustafa, and Zar Khan the most popular Lollywood star with his "Khandani" (Royal) and entertaining attitude from Hong Kong, Narayangang CC from Bangladesh with former Bangladesh national players Habibul Bashar and famous Commentator and former national player Ather Ali, a local Hua Hin side Thai Thevada, Thailand Colts and Thai Masters teams from Thailand.
The Gold Coast Tigers from Australia were very impressive in their debut in the tournament.
There were seven matches on a half-day Programme from the main Cup and Masters competitions. The masters competitions appears to be wide open with no obvious front runners while in the Cup former champions The KCC Woodbines showed they mean business with commanding victories over the Melbourne Cup from Melbourne who have the famous fast bowler Mick Louis who played for Australia in their side.
The Dusit Resort Hua Hin and The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) hosted a grand welcome dinner at the resort last night. On third day KCC Woodbines confirmed their place for Final.
Ankur Sharma and Robert Raina shown their classic batting and were dominating while couple of responsible knock by Skipper Tauseef Bukhari to bring their team to victory in few crucial situations. Sher Lama impressed with his 'technical batting' and swift running between the wickets and very tight bowling.
Ghulam Mustafa was electrifying in the field taking few great catches and run outs as well as he bowled superbly great!! The Most entertaining Lollywood Star Zar Khan entertained the crowed with his "Khandani" sixes and some dives in the field.
Mr. Clive Howard and family are Host and "Chief Commander" of KCC Woodbines as always!!! And The greatest Ever Mr. Louis Coulthard and Mrs. Louis (Sandra) as usual were really behind the team and looking after the team so well!!!
Final were played between KCC Woodbines and Melbourne Cup.
After winning the toss Skipper Tauseef Bukhari decided to bowl first and their brilliant bowling attack and restricted Melbourne Cup to 49 in 5 overs.
Ankur Sharma and Robert Raina started the inning for KCC Woodbines chasing a target of 50 runs. Both started very positively and after 2 overs KCC Woodbines were 38 for no loss.
Mick Louis famous Australian National One Day Player has to bowl his over. He bowled with real pace and mixing up with line and length, surprised Ankur Sharma and just gave 3 runs in his over. Both Robert Raina and Ankur Sharma kept their selves cool and didnt lose their wicket.
Next over Robert Raina finished it with a style. KCC Woodbines win in 4th over.
Clive Howard 7 Louis Coulthard who did every effort to bring this team together to Hua Hin were so pleased and they appreciated everyone for their efforts!!!
