Only the powerful vested interests want these planned changes,not nurses,not doctors,not the public..the NHS is a wonderful service and is being destroyed by the 1%.

I get the feeling that Cameron knows full well that this bill hasn't got a hope in hell of passing, but he just wants to be able to throw Lansley to the wolves when it goes tits up in Parliament so he can say he 'saved' the NHS. The worst thing about this bill is that it is making a return to Labour governance inevitable - after their 13-year betrayal of the people they should have been in the abyss, but instead it looks like the useless Miliband is going to get into power for the wrong reasons.

@weswes666 I agree with that, though its privatising the healthcare was the problem, and letting drug companies make billions for something that costs them 1penny to make and selling it for 10quid

@DClarkeUK How can private and public at the same time work? I my doctor for free but I have to pay the assistant nurse? Private companies put small amounts of money in and take large amounts of money out. Right now, if you're suspected of having cancer you get seen within 2 weeks by a doctor and have tests all in one day, and have the result by the end of the week. With the reform, expect that to take over a month. Why bother saying you hate to agree with Tories when you clearly are one?
